Some people think that pure democracy would birth pure justice.
disagree.
Pure democracy is when every adult votes on every decision,
and then someone is tasked with implementing the results.
But democracy is not the rule of ALL the people;
it is the rule of the majority of the voting population.
Jim Crow was real democracy.
We live in a Constitutional Republic, which has a series of safeguards to keep the USA viable.
But again, Jim Crow was a working democracy.
Justice was too harsh on minorities when guilty,
while justice was non-existent for them when they were victims.
