I have seen marriages fail because one person was very outgoing
and the other was very withdrawn; an extrovert married an introvert.
So often, opposite personalities marry each other.
Everyone should have some boundaries, but some people have few boundaries

An extrovert cannot be forced into a monastical lifestyle,
and an introvert will likely never become a social butterfly.
But when we marry, we now have another person to include when setting our boundaries.
The same goes with each child born into the family.
A family is a group of people with differing personalities that must be considered.

But God says that marriage should be lifelong, so people need to bear down

MARRIAGE
A failed Marriage...
... creates victims.
People that were supposed to love each other forever - no longer speak to each other.
Families that were supposed to comingle - separate from each other.
And the children of that marriage are damaged.
Many people pushed away by a spouse - may further withdraw from life.
And super-ironic; if the victim-spouse finds a new love,
the pusher-away spouse becomes riled up and creates new problems.
The victim-spouse's new romance is an indictment against the pusher-away-spouse.
The victim's new romance - contradicts the claim that the pushed-away spouse
was unfit to be with.
...and their children...even adult children...they are caught in the middle.
