Overview

I just watched a crime show last night, a rehash of the California Menendez brothers case.

They killed their parents, claiming a long history of parent-to-child sexual abuse.

I am also keen on the Peiper Lewis case out of Des Moines, Iowa,

Iowa teen Pieper Lewis, who killed alleged rapist, avoids prison (desmoinesregister.com)

Another killing in this genre is 'The Tomato Patch Murder', in Georgia.

Entire family shattered by rage and abuse (southcoasttoday.com)

The prosecutor in the Menendez case claimed the killing was a vendetta.

It's possible (if the abuse was true) it was not vendetta, but self-defense,

when a victim enters a never-ending cycle of abuse

that has no apparent end until the perpetraitor dies.

Ongoing abuse makes them wonder if they can ever be free from the abuse.

What would Harriet Tubman say about this?

I would think this is a form of PTSD or worse, CTSD

(my label: 'Chronic Traumatic Stress Disorder).

Fact-checkers, is this true?

If the FBI consider this an axiom,

why aren't sexual abuse victims allowed to operate under this assumption too?

And deal with their abusers and though it will never end as long as their abusers are alive?

The Constitutionalist-part of me thinks

that until a sexual abuser turns themselves in and confesses the crime,

the victim has the right to neutralize the abuser as they see fit

to give them security from the possibility of further abuse.

I'm not saying this would be New Testament -compliant, but...

So, does this create the possibility of further false sexual-abuse charges?

Absolutely. Hmmm.
